Education & training
One of the main objectives of the MINWA project is to disseminate its research results to all relevant parties in small scale wastewater treatment. The main groups reached through the project are students, professionals, authorities and the public. Each group can benefit from the results of the MINWA project.
Project activities include a student exchange between Tartu University, Türi College in Estonia, and The University of Applied Scienses of Turku, Finland. The first exchange student from Estonia arrived in Turku in August 2009. In addition, staff of both organisations will have an opportunity to visit each other's schools and exchange ideas. During the three years time, educational material will be prepared and these materials can be found on the MINWA web pages by those who seek information and knowledge about small scale wastewater treatment.
One of the main target groups of MINWA is the public. This group will be reached through various counselling meetings and seminars.
